Welcome. I am Kathryn Hill, a Licensed Marriage & Family therapist providing services in California and Nevada. As a dedicated practitioner of Healing Arts since 1980, I blend various therapeutic approaches from a core of empathy and understanding. My passion lies in the transformative power of relationships and personal growth. Drawing from my journey and professional training, I’ve dedicated my career to guiding individuals, couples, and families toward healing and fulfillment.
I have worked as a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 1990. Having trained with Dr. Carl Whitaker, a revered pioneer of family therapy, my orientation is compassionate and engaged.
In addition to maintaining a private practice, my work experience includes positions as the Bereavement and Spiritual Care Coordinator for Tahoe Forest Hospice, as the Program Manager for the Lake Tahoe branch of Sierra Mental Wellness Group and the Clinical Director of Behavioral Health for Sierra County Health & Human Services. I am a Senior Associate of the Lomi School, an innovator in the field of somatically based psychotherapy. I have taught somatic and experience therapy at Esalen Institute and Family Therapy at City University.
